J.R.'s 360g shallow tank build!!!!!

Ok to start off for the last 2 months I have been saving up for a custom 360g tank from my LFS 8'longx2'tallx3' wide. They wanted $2700 for the tank and to bring it down in my basement! so last week I was looking around online and found a 360g 8'longx18''tallx4'wide with 2 center overflows for a grand. Sunday I went and looked at the tank great shape! So this saturday I will be picking it up! I started building a stand out of treated wood then later that night go on RC and found out that was a big no no. So back to homedepot I went. This time with normal 2x6s and 2x8 and 2x10s. Now i have the stand about half way done what do u all think so far?
this is the tank that i will be picking up on saturday.

This is the stand im building.

Well I got the new tank down in the basement and up on the stand. It took 9 ppl! The tank has been filling up for over 3 days now. I just put some of my live rock and sand from my 150g tank in it last night I will post some pics when I get off work 2 night.

She's a beauty! I'll look forward to seeing your progress. I'm very intrigued about 'water change day' on a tank this size.

I haven't looked at a tank with these dimensions (shallow and wide). Looks really sweet! The bar around it is a nice touch. Are you planning a canopy of some sort?

Thank you! Yes I will be putting a canopy on it. The tank has only been set up for about 12 weeks so I have been busy with the bar that still is not done yet.

Thank you still getting over the cyno stage in a new tank. Yes the shelf you speak of will be a bar/walk way to access the top of the tank
