I've bought fish from them a couple times. Always healthy, and well fed when arrived.

I also wonder why? The one order I received that was DOA, I sent them a couple pics, and I had store credit. No questioned asked, other then a couple quick cell pics in an email. I have ordered a total of about 5 times and other then the one DOA(lets face it, isht happens during shipping) all specimens have been high quality.

I am swamped right now so this will be the short version. Had nothing to do with DOA's.
Essentially, the "manager" refused to take my order because I only wanted to purchase one small fish (even though I fully expected to pay the shipping which was much more than the fish). He said - at least 10 times - that I had to buy more because the company would lose money on only one fish. He was very rude, argumentative and insistent. He was yelling at me on the phone. It was quite shocking and I don't shock easily. I actually thought that maybe he was just having a horrible day, someone in his family just died, he received a bad diagnosis, etc. because I just couldn't make sense of why he was treating me like he did. This is only my experience. I don't like to bash venders because one incident doesn't make a pattern. Somewhere I wrote up a rough transcript of the "conversation" I had with this person. Horrible customer service. I hope you have better luck than I did. I'm not one to start a thread about bashing a vendor, but since you asked for some feedback, I thought I'd chime in. Best of luck! |
