Bought two pairs of erectus from seahorsesource.com. Not sure if they ship to Canada but the fish were in great shape. Can check them out maybe ship to a boarder town and drive across if you live close enough.

No they don't ship to Canada.
There are two breeders local to London Ontario, one in London and one near Woodstock.

They have some special needs that need to be addressed if you want to have success with them. Namely water quality and cooler temperature, 74 degrees or lower. You don't want to keep them with aggressive fish (many SH Keepers have them in a species only tank) or with stinging coral either. And they need to eat often, at least twice a day and some folks feed 3 Xs a day. So I guess you could say in some ways they are high maintenance, ha ha!

I just ordered a pair of dwarfs form ebay - they were not pricey ($40 incl. shipping) and my wife wanted some.
It's time I put my pod and artemia cultures to use again after the pipefish are now on Mysis.
