5 days of dosing Redsea Nopox what now?
Hello,
I have just finished 5 days of dosing redsea nopox in my holding tank, it has reduced my nitrates from 25ppm to 2.5 on day 4 so today being day five I reduced the amount by half then tested again tonight and they have fallen below 2.5ppm so what should I do now? Stop dosing do a waterchange? I want to do a round of prazi pro and not sure how to proceed as I need to keep my skimmer skimming while using nopox. Advice needed please. Thanks. |

I'd stop dosing the NOPOx and run the Prazi Pro treatment. 25 ppm of nitrate should be safe for any sort of fish, let alone 2.5 ppm or lower. Are you dosing into a full reef tank?

Would you do a waterchange before prazi pro treatment or straight into it? |

I don't see any reason to do a water change unless the ammonia spikes. Nitrate is not toxic to fish up to at least 100s of ppm.
