Deep Blue tank

I bought one, rimless 80 gallons 48"x24"x12 from Fish tank direct in FL. after about several weeks of setting it up. the tank begins to split on one of the corner. The tank is still under one year warranty. I called Fish tank direct, and was told to contact Deep Blue (Deep Blue company no longer around). long story short, I would have to repair the tank myself.

- Would I recommend Deep Blue? for me, I would NOT buy Deep Blue tank again.

- Buy Deep Blue tank,
if you don't care about warranty,
if you're willing to do repair it your self,
if you're willing to take the risk of tank leaks on you.

hope this help

GL

I thought they went out of business though.

They have a website up and looks to be active, so I thought they could be an option. Will have to look into to that, any one else?

Found out from my LFS Deep Blue the brand is no more. He did tell me the original parent company sold, shut it down, or some how has nothing more to do with Deep Blue. BUT another large aquarium/fish supplier took it over (sorry I forgot the new name) and the same tanks are still being made by the same people in the same place and still only through LFSs. If anyone wants to know the new name let me know and I'll ask my LFS again and write it down this time. Thanks for all the input!

Deep Blue brand name is gone but the tanks are apparently still being made. Seapora, or something like that. I’ve had three of their rimless tanks; all have been fine and the two I still own are running flawlessly.
