Light for a 1 gallon pico?
My wife picked up a 1 gallon pico for the kitchen counter in retort for me building a 75 peninsula tank, so that leads me to this question....
She wants to do a tank similar to Melev's 2 gallon pico with a baby clam ( which would move to my tank eventually), zoas, maybe one of those micro-gobies. I am going to use a Sen micro 500 pump for flow....but what about lighting without spending 500$. Are any of these clip on LED nano lights strong enough? I need some input... |

ya definately a no brainer right there, the par 38 and 30 both are great lights for about 60-70 bucks and you just put it in a normal desk lamp.

For a 1g a Par 38 would be a waste of money. The Par30 would be great.

Depending on the rim size of your pico, I would recommend the Hydra Aquatics Retina I LED Fixture....
Here it's on my 1.6 gallon pico! It has high PAR rating.... |
