Help ID please

So a few of months back I was at the LFS and they had in a tank off to the side a very tiny, maybe 1" mantis, I asked what they were doing with it and they said I could have it. Well I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it but I brought him home anyway. I have an old 12g nano cube I was going to set up but I thought Ill put him in the sump for my 45g aquarium for the time being. It has live rock rubble and seemed like a good temporary house. My 45 is in the process of being phased out, it currently only has 1 fish in it. Id throw some food into the sump and this tank has been established for over 6 years, so I knew there were plenty of pods small enough for him to eat. I would randomly hear him punching things.
Tonight I was able to snag him and got him in a clear solo cup to take some photos. He has clearly tripled his size and looks very healthy and active. Im hoping in the next month or so to move him to the 12g nano so I can really enjoy him.
On that note, I got a couple decent shots of him and was hoping for some help with an ID.
He is red in color, his clubs look greenish blue. In one of the photos he has a piece of krill he is holding on to.

I'm tempted to say Neogonodactylus Curacaoensis but there's some features that don't quite match-up. I think it might just be an N. Wennerae. It's red because it's from deeper water (below 10m).

Looks like a Neogonodactylus wennerae to me.

Thanks for the responses. Any advice for this specific breed?
I'm assuming since it's deeper waters, low light. It's color hasn't changed yet since I've had it.
