Zoa Garden/Onyx Lagoon

This is a new project. I have a 65 gal. SPS reef.

Specs:

20 gal. Innovative Marine Peninsula
Ecotech MP10
Es Hopps Nano Skimmer

I need to step up my zoa game. Any suggestions as to where to find premium zoas? Im excited about this little tank.

The chocolate starfish is just chillin until my pair of harlequins get hungry again..

The real question is how premium do you want to go?
The forums usually have a nice selection but you can always buy directly from the designer websites... Not sure if you want some quality starts or plan on breaking bad with some cb bowzers at the start...

you just missed the wwc (world wide corals) 24 hr live sale. good lord, their zoa/paly selection during the sale was amazing.

i picked up some pinky & the brain, mambo jambo, rainbow sakuras, magicians, kedds reds, and an illuminati. prices were well below anything i've seen online during the sale, and no one has anything close to these locally.

i missed out on nebulas.

go premium. the difference will make you view the more generic z/p's as weeds

WWC, Planet Zoa, Your Reef, cultivated reef all have some killer zoas. Among a ton of other sites out there.

I live three miles from YourReef. Fantastic people, beautiful coral selection. Could not ask for a better place to drool. His zoa selection is indeed outstanding.

I wish I lived near a good coral store. I'm forced to pretty much order online.

My LFS frags and auctions the "premium" zoas/palys they've grown out from WWC and the like. They're dirty cheap in comparison, until I bid on them. It's like no one can identify them, or don't bother to, and just use my bid as verification it's worth something. =\
