I haven't been online in some time due to health issues.
But new reefers join every day.
When I was new, this forum was my bible.
You should read and ask questions every day. There are people here who are 'been there, done that and got the t-shirt' and can give you sound advice
After a year away, I still see the same posts about ich.
In truth, this is the #1 post issue if have seen in my 6 years on Reef Central.
This common ailment is 100% preventable with proper QT.
Anything that claims to be a cure that works in your reef DT is snake oil.
I know that 2 weeks to 2 months seems FOREVER with an new tank.
But after a year, you will see that 2 months is not a long time.
And the small expense at the start will save you large $$$ later.

Save the Fish !!

ALL questions (about this hobby specifically) have been asked and answered over and over....
The answers are out there for everything..
No one "needs" forums.. But... Most don't have the patience to read through the massive amount of "info" here nor can I blame them as its rather disorganized..
Many also don't have the knowledge to "Google" well and the skills to see the valid/useful information in the mountain of info provided to them..

So people will continue to ask questions over and over and over again..

having ick is what made me create account here. I know all i need to know about ick now. But this knowledge came NOT from reading stickies, but from good fellow members here answering my questions and helping me.
Just like MCGYVR said this forum is a bit disorganized as far as finding what you looking for. At least for me anyways, back when i started.
