The Kaladi borhters is in the Tidal Wave book store, in Anchorage in the same strip mall that REI is in, by Minnesota/Spenard, there is also an Alaska Club there, and a few other small stores.

Meeting
Seen the flyer up but could not make the meeting. For those that would like to do some trading I am open on saturdays and sundays. I have a 33 prop tank running with hard and soft corals. Lots of Monties, Arco's, Xenia, anthlia, colts, spaggetis, caps, and shrums. I also have a 120 and 2 each 150 completely set up and could possibly trade colonies. I alos have many zoos. My duncans have just started to prop. I also have an assortment of acans 30 to 40 each that I am willing to sell.
Many lights as well, metals and compacts. excuse the spelling it has been a long day.. |

Well for those of you who missed out there was 5 people there, a small following so far, but it was a really great start. We talked about a lot of diffrent things and ideas, and the conversation will continue into cyber space. tracer has started a website www.alaskafragswap.com that we can use as a place for the club to post messages and share information. Come check it out, sign-up, and then you can get on the forum there to see what we are talking about! With summer, we all agreed, meetings will not be so formal or frequent, but hope to gain at least a message board following, so this fall, we will try to have another meet/greet. Help get the word/name out there so we can keep this going!

Wow, you guys have come along way. I moved to North Pole, AK about 5 years ago and moved away about 3. It's kinda amazing how many people I have met from NP since I left. What is it, about 2k that actually lives there? Sounds like it's been a warm winter for you guys so for. I was talking to my buddy from Palmer today and he says you guys were just getting to -40.

It really has been an easy winter in North Pole (where I live also). Crossed -20F once or twice and just now hit -40 today, most of the time hovering around zero'ish.

Lol it's warmer than you think. My metal halides generate enough heat I needed a fan to keep it cool.

Anchorage here. I know there are more of us out there. I think some folks are on reef to reef.

Hey man, I've been up here for 12 years. When I first got back into reefing tanks I wanted to get some stuff going on. A few guys got something going for a bit. There was pretty poor showing though (less then 10 people) and it fell apart pretty quickly. Personally I don't have the time myself right now but you should talk with Tim at his shop. They hosted a meeting there one or two times (the old shop). Good luck, hope you can get something going.

I just started my reef tank a couple months ago and was excited to see this club on the forum. Anything happen with it? Are there other clubs in anchorage?
