Reef Safe?
I was wondering if 1 gallon water jugs are reef safe? The jugs are #2 HDPE plastic. Will it leech anything in the water because I want to use them to store water. Thanks

Should be fine. Most concerns with plastics these days are with BPA, and less stable forms of polycarbonate and PVC plastics, etc..
But HDPE (and PE in general) is a pretty inert/safe form of plastic compared to polycarbonate and PVC plastics, and generally the go-to for general chemical/UV resistance. That is what my food-grade mixing drums are made of!
