I'm in Savannah and would love to get a club or something going. There are NO stores in the area that I have found that will have anything to do with SPS! I'm in the process of getting my tank back rolling. Having to stock it with stuff ordered online because of the lack of selection in the area. I've been going to Jacksonville for my needs...

Docsb79 - I am also from Bluffton but now live in Birmingham, al. I got back in the hobby because my step father in hilton head got bit by the bug bad and had about 8 tanks going. all are FOWLR for now but they are starting to look at getting into some coral. I will be sure to point him to the ARC and the Charlestonreefers.

Jamgar , Y-Diver, I am just starting up a 110Gal reef tank, still in the purchasing phase for all the equipment. $$$$$$$$. You are right about this area and the limited supplies. I currently use Coastal Aq in Richmond Hill on Hwy 17. If I find something online for a price they try to get the same price for me which saves shipping cost to me. If you do start a group let me know. I am located near Ft Stewart.

I'm from jesup and I also use coastal they are one of two places around to get anything at a good price. The other is Ocean Wonders on ST Simons but he is only open on wed and sat and for only a few hours each day. It would be great to have a club close by.

I'm in Jacksonville. I'm just getting started though so I don't have anything to frag yet.

I say there is enough of us in the coastal georgia area, that we should get something going. Looks like we have Savannah, Walthourville, and Jessup so far, I am sure that there are more.

Wow nice to see here are a few of us in the area. I was at a shop in Savannah a few months back that seemed decent, was just driving but so wasn't really looking to buy anything at that time. Only other Shop I know is in Beaufort, SC and I haven't heard much good about them.

If you are planning on starting a small club I would be interested. I am from Ft. Stewart (currently deployed) but I will be back in 2 months.

JAG,
You be safe over there, I myself retired out of FS in 2006 and settled down in the Hinesville area, when you get back we need to get a group formed in this area.

I'm in the Savannah area too. I'd totally be interested in getting in with a club or something.

If yall are unaware, Atlanta Reef Club has a very large member base. Do a google search. I don't want to post a direct link.
