Thanks very much guys. The tank is still adapting to the lighting system and probably will be for the next 6 months or so. The Powder Blue tang has been with me for about 2 years now. Very healthy and seeing that it is the only tang in the system, hasn't showed any signs of stress.
Cheers, Andy |

Awesome tank!!
question: prior to the switch to halides, was everything in your tank living under VHO's only? |

What a beautiful tank ! I'm still fairly new to the hobby, and still on softies and LPS, but after looking at your tank, I definately want to try my hand at some SPS in the future. I can only hope to have such an awesome tank one day !!!
Congrats on being chosen for TOTM - You deserve it !

Very nice indeed.
I am one also that believes in not feeding my corals directly, there is so much life in my tank there is plenty macro food floating around for them. I do as you do in feeding DT's once a week, or twice a week every now and then if it looks like they could use it. Periodically I take a plastic surynge full of mysis shrimp and direct feed some of my polyps and gorgonia's to give them a boost you could say. Do you ever do anything like this?

Truly inspirational...thank you. I too am amazed at the amount of plumbing and equipment you have managed to "cram" into that stand. MH's in a 12" hood must have been a challenge.

Nice Tank
I would like to say that you have a very nice tank. Is it possible to get some more pictures of the sump, stand, cabinet and canopy. I have a new tank I am setting up with a steel frame and was going to cover it with wood. Pictures of yours would be helpful.
Thanks Cel |
