Yes all those led fixtures aren't cheap...
But I don't want to change bulbs anymore...
Can't wait to see what those Philips lights can do!!!

Subscribed. I hope it will be an Acro-dominated set up. Why are you not using T5s this time round Flo?

Hey guys!

Did some work on the manifold:

Lights are ordered and I am brainstorming on my reefscape

Taking things slow, I know Andrew... but still not going back in time

Cheers

Looks good Flo! Are you going to be mounting that manifold section to something? I'd be a little worried that once it has water there'll be a little too much stress running through it

Got any inspiration for the scape you're thinking about??

Thanks Dom!
For now it's resting in the edge of the glass of the sump but I have to think about mounting it

Yes there is some inspiration but I don't know how to realize it for now... starts with the simple question what stones do I use...

LOoking good Flo!
I think I like black background better but that blue give a good feel of depth. Anyways, it'll get pretty grown over.... unless you are a back glass cleaner guy..

Looking good. I prefer black background too. It is more forgiving if you neglect cleaning back glass as it does not show algae/dirt as much as blue background does.

I find your pipes very sexy. Are they Vertex brand? Is the aluminium stand as sturdy as a steel one?

Yes I like black too but the back panel is so big I've got the fear that all black will be too much... maybe I am going to develop into a back glass cleaner guy...

As is said I think it will be too much going all black...
The pipes are from royal exclusive the only place where you can get red pipes in Austria or Germany as far as I know

Cheers

hey Flo,

nice work! I would go for blue background too. It looks more natural and a better ocean look and bright.
imho black is to much for this tank size... ok its better to hide the mp`s but to dark
Keep up the good work made!

And once the tank grows in, nobody will be looking at the back wall anyways.
