"If you are worried, email Kessil. If you are not the orginal owner, there may be a charge for any repairs that they may have to do."

I was emailing Kessil, why email because "that's the fastest way we respond", that's big joke. I'm am the original owner I hope, the box was never opened when I bought it.

The controller makes it a whole lot easier it your buying the a360's, but no you don't need them.

Everyone has heard it but it goes against ALL our own experiences. Unless the tank is very deep (30" or more), A360s at 100% is way more than is required for zoas sitting on the floor.

What we are saying is you did not let the coral have time to adjust to the led before introducing T5s. If the zoas came from a T5 tank then they will most comfortable with that type of light n relax.

Depends. Did you change settings every few days trying to get your zoas to settle down? Or did you set it up and leave it for weeks? If you are constantly fiddling then no.

But thats what I'm saying maybe there's something wrong with mine. Everyone else has good experience with theres. I don't think every light that Kessil puts out is going to be perfect. That's why we have recalls.

No not a few days few weeks to a month at a time, before reprogramming the settings.

then your easiest bet is borrow a PAR meter from a local reef club. Test the Kessil.

I measured A360E at 8 inches above water level. 16" deep tank. At 100%, I get about 75-100 par on sand bed around the light.

For Color it starts at 5 then peaks at 25 then back down to 0
I also keep the color around 45.. have you tried bumping that up?

Yes we went back and forth it was like this emoji she just didn't understand, it was like she wasn't reading what I was telling her. It felt like she was reading from a piece of paper on what to say to customers. But for now I need to fill out a form give them my credit card # so that they can send me a new a360w, I then return my light within 30 days of receiving the new light if not my credit card gets charged.

I am in the market for a decently priced a150 in either sky blue or ocean blue if anyone has one or comes across one for sale.

Anyone with the new A80's, how the shimmer compared to the A160? I want to add a couple of the A80 to my ATI sunpower just for the shimmer effect.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. I just purchased a a150w and had plans of adding another but would really like the control ability of the 160 or maybe a80.

Anyone know if they can be turned down enough to act as moonlights?

Lol, yup!

On the 125, should have sucked it up even more and picked up 2 AP700s instead!

36"X24" is the intended coverage area for SPS for the AP700. I would got with that mounted about 8-9" from the water and it's going to look amazing!

Not at all, unless you tank is so full of coral that they are shading each other and them selves. The AP700 does a great job at spreading the light and decreasing shadows. Some chose to add T5s, myself will look to add them some day, but they are not required what so ever.
