Pacific Sun New Fixture

Is anyone aware of new fixture coming out in 2017. I saw or read a review about the new fixture. One thing I recall is that the software will tell you when the bulbs need replacing. I don't remember what else and I can't find the source I read. Google turned up nothing.

Sweet. Love it that a company is doing the wise thing investing in T5 fixtures. Looks promising

It just remembers the time the bulbs/channels have been on for and just uses that for the bulb lifespan.. Good reminder function though.. Wonder if you can change between 6-9-12 months,etc..

You can set lifetime in [h] by your self(up to 4.000 hours) or use suggested settings (because each kind of tube have different lifetimes - for example pink tubes - like Pigment INT, Purple plus from ATI or Fiji Purple from Giesemann) have shortest lifetime - and should be replaced after 3-5 months (biggest PAR drop).
Blue tubes(like Crystal Blue/ ATI Blue plus etc) will work much longer - even up to 9-12 months.

Just found this after looking for a ATI unit. I wonder if the dimming will cause problems?

It's not dimmable, but will have 4 channels that controls 2 bulbs each which I like better than dimming because it does not shorten bulb life.

Hello,
We not sold too many units in USA cause there weren't available in last two quarters(only few units shipped in September before MACNA)..
Actually more than 200 units is in transport to USA Customers(and available from Central PET stock) so we expect that within next few months much more users will be able to share their experiences.

BR
