MAG Drive - awesome service!

So my Mag 9.5 crapped out after about 3.5/4 years. I was told they had a 5-year warranty, so I called them up. I filled out a form, shipped it to them (cost about $12), and a few weeks later - BRAND NEW PUMP!

What a great company!

That's awesome. I use them in my tank & pond, but never knew they had a 5 year warranty. Luckily all of mine have been going way longer than 5 years. Very reliable pumps.

I'm failing to see how this is "post worthy"?
Sounds like an absolutely basic/standard level of customer service..

You even had to pay for shipping.. Did they credit that?

I'm glad for this post. There can never be too much info, only too little.

I have been told by reps of some companies that service is now considered a "necessary evil." It's heartening to see Supreme is not one of those.

I'm especially happy to see it as I have two Mag 9.5s running my 90 gallon reef and another 9.5 running my 75 gallon anemone tank.

I've used Supremes in my maintenance business and personally for many more years than I can remember, and have been happy with the results.

i always like hearing about positive interactions people have with vendors, especially vendors i use!

i'll be honest and say there's plenty of brands in this hobby that i'm not interested in touching because people have had negative customer service experiences with them. so it's always nice to hear that a company who's products i like quite a bit, is a good one to deal with.

the last thing i want when something breaks is a hassle. i'm already frustrated that i have to fix or replace some equipment.

I just don't consider that "awesome" or noteworthy.. Thats just basic customer service..
I guess that is rare now a days to most..

Now if they ponied up for a prepaid return label (or just sent out a new pump) and maybe threw in a few stickers or a fruit basket.. Well.. then you might have something
