Pearlscale

I have a 55 gallon fish only tank. With the exception of a shrimp which I rarely see other than that I have a coral beauty and two clown fish. I was thinking of getting two new fish for awhile. I was doing research one is a hawkfish the other is a pearlscale butterfly fish thoughts or advice with these fish will they be ok in a 55?

I think a 55 gallon maybe a little small for the butterfly fish. Hawkfish will be fine

Minimum tank size for a pearlscale is 70/75 gallons. A hawkfish would be a good addition.

Butterflies, in general, are not as hardy many of the other common fish families we keep. Specifically, they don't ship well. Pearlscale butterflies, ime, are among the hardier butterflies.

I wouldn't recommend one for a 55 gallon, however.
