Trochus snails

I just recently purchased 4 trochus snails as part of my clean up crew for my 55 gallon setup. They were recommended to me because they supposedly can right themselves if they flip over. I placed them on the rocks and glass and almost everytime I check my aquarium in the morning or after work, at least one of them has flipped itself over and they don't appear to be making an effort right themselves. Should I be manually righting them or just letting them go on their own?

The species that live on or among rocks can usually right themselves if they fall...on rocks. They can't right themselves on sand.
