L shape air intake cleaning.
Hi, hi have a classic 9002 skimmer on my Nuvo 10 sps. The White plastic L shape that attaches the airline tubing to suck in air keeps on getting clog by calcium deposits. Is there a good way to clean it out? Or should I replace it?
Do you sell that replacement piece? Thanks Sent from my R1 HD using Tapatalk

I have the same problem in this point (see picture)
with Tunze 9004... and... I put with a syringe every week 20 ml of osmotic water directly from the little air pipe with the Tunze 9004 switched on. I don't know is correct but I see better performance after this activity Inviato dal mio iPad utilizzando Tapatalk Pro |

I had a similar problem with my skimmer. What I do now is I added a timer to shut the skimmer off once a day for the least amount of time allowable by the timer. What this does is washes the air intake every day , in turn you won't get any calcium build up. You don't have to be there every day either. HTH
