Top off sand

Can someone recommend the best looking sand to top off my ugly sand in my main eatablished tank?

What are you currently using? Also keep in mind that:

- Once algae grows on the sand bed it'll no longer be bright white unless you have a goby constantly sifting it to keep it turned over.

- Smaller sized sand will go to the bottom. If you have large pieces now and add a finer grain...the bigger pieces will usually work their way to the top layer over time.

Caribsea special grade reef is nice
Tropical eden has good sand too..
Most are all the same color though and not stark white..

Thats the pink variety...Not the exact one I was thinking about...If you want some pink shells in it then that one is fine...
I meant the normal dry special grade reef

REALLY white and will lead to really brown sand. It’s a perfect environment for algae to grow on. It’s like new live rock, it is covered in algae in no time.
