I was looking for info on a free software download to do designs/ schematics and renderings. Found this from a post seems pretty good for tank planning for people with out CAD or other professional programs. Google Sketch Up...

I found a good site for plastic hose clamps. Cheap prices but min. order counts are not that bad (25-50 pcs.).

Just search for plastic hose clamps and choose the size you want.

Nope,

http://www.thk.hk/onlinestore.php?cid=1

Is much much cheaper. I have bought from them, shipped quick, was able to do at least 20 holes and still seems to be a viable bit.

I bought some stuff from these guys awhile ago. Friendly people to answer questions, good service, good prices-what more could you ask for?

I am trying to remember the name of the website that sells DIY parts for for reef projects. They make twist locks for skimmer necks, CA reactor tops, etc. I remember the site had DIY in it but cannot find it. Any one know the site I am talking about? Thanks

How about those fiberglass rods for marking your driveway (for snowy days)?

Please I need help!!!!

Hello I'm not exactly sure where to post so maybe someone can help me out. I am in need of two 1 3/4" outer and 1" inner bulkheads for my 120 gallon tank. I have gone to several fish stores in Southern Cali for them and no one carries them. I have even gone to Home Depot and Lowes to find something similar to them and nothing. The stores I visited today was Vivid Aquarium, Underwater Depot and Aquarium city with no luck!!!! If someone can point me in the right direction of where I may find a place that could carry that size in the Los Angeles County area I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

Thanks again
Kat

Just a notice about HarborFreight. Their tools are nicely priced, but you get what you pay for. If you get something sharp (like a chisel or something of the sort) expect it not to be sharp. But if you're gunna use the tools once or maybe just a few times, it's great.

Not sure if this site has made it into the thread, but USA Light & Electric is a great resource for DIY parts to hang fixtures. They have all of the parts included in a $30 to $40 hanging kit available individually for a fraction of the cost. For example:

http://usalight.com/zf-15z-832-i-gri...le-glider.html

http://usalight.com/ag-16-87-48-griplock-cable-4.html

Two of each of those are all I need to mount my fixture.

Looking for plans to make a probe holder or to buy.

I tried going through as many of the posts as I could but couldn't seem to find anything on this.

Anybody know where to get cheap 1" gate valves?

Apparently not a single store sells them locally.
