Nassarius or Predatory Whelk?
Just picked up a few of what I hope are Nassarius snails and not predatory whelks. I'm hoping someone more experienced will be able to help identify before releasing into the display.
Sorry for crappy quality on the pictures. https://i.imgur.com/eRViDUs.jpg https://i.imgur.com/84WArq7.jpg |

You just adding a little sport to the ID game by photographing them in the bag? lol Yes, I think they are Nassarius also.

Awesome, glad to hear. I purchased from one of the best dealers in my state, but I never take anything for granted these days.
More reference pictures if anyone else stumbles upon the thread. https://i.imgur.com/yCsPvTz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/xj1BCrp.jpg Last edited by 00101; 06/27/2017 at 03:42 PM. |
