Question twolittlefishies pump.

As the title suggests, I would like a twolittlefishies pump for a 150 gfo reactor. (using gfo) So what's the cheapest yet efficient pump I can buy?
Also might put carbon in the future.

I used a minijet 400 for almost 20 years on mine. I don't think they make them anymore, so I would suggest a maxijet 600 and a ball valve to control flow.

Yes to #2, either one to 1 & 3. I'd go for #1 just to have a little reserve.

You might need some vinyl tubing. If you put the tubing in boiling water it will fit over easily

So would the pump be to small or to large?

yes. depends on what size tubing you get

Get the pump and take it with you to HD/Lowes. I prefer to get slightly smaller tubing so that after the boiling water trick and a cool down, it grips tightly. No clamps required

No metal clamps. They'll just rust in no time. A zip tie will work just as well and can't rust.
