Question Someone please ID... Jellyfish? NOT Hydroid! Promise...

what is this???

video link: http://youtu.be/FPFkDuM0OOA

This is my 28 nanocube hqi in the video it has crazy amounts of life but one creature I don't know it's not a hydroid. I think it might be a jellyfish. On tv yesterday there was a program about them that found that reproduction wasnt viable unless higher than normal temps are present. My aquarium is halide like one inch from the water so during the day the temp swings like 3 to 4 degrees higher e.g. the higher than normal temps. However I don't know. So if anyone knows please tell me the link to the video of the third specimen I've seen is above.

I think it is a hydroid jellyfish. I had that EXACT same jelly thing in my 14G nano when I started it.

That is so cool!

Did it just "pop-up" in your tank? Do you think it came on the LR? If so, where did your rock come from?

How long have you had it? Does it apear to be eating or do you think its starving?

Thanks!

It's a hydroid jellyfish, just a different type than the ones you commonly see that look like snowflakes. I had them back in 2002 and Dr. Ron Shimek ID'd them for me.
