Completed Build DIY 150 Litre Sump!!!
After many threads & constant question asking of all of you.. With a bribed friend from my LFS, we have officially finished building the UK's cheapest (everything's so expensive here) and best looking Custom Sump!
As you can tell we were brimming with pride.... The first holes we have drilled, first baffles we've inserted and everything. Feedback welcomed & please go easy as if what we've done isn't good i'll probably cry!! in terms of other info - as you can see from the photos, the compartment before the return is going to be low flow and thus is my refugium. does anyone have any ideas what is best for me to put in there? In terms of what i want to achieve from the fuge - i want pods 100% as in the long term future i would love to give a mandarin (i know the risks).. aside from pods, anything which is good looking & helpful with nitrates would be great? i've read about chaeto algae? Thanks in advance!
