Sea Water Express Feeder Shrimp
I received my first order today from George at Sea Water Express (www.seawaterexpress.com) and I was very happy with the feeder shrimp. Having 4 seahorses and a pipefish to feed I have been on the lookout for some high quality feeders, and not the normal freshwater or brackish ones that are available.
George raises true marine shrimp and my seahorses went berserk over them. Nice thing about them being true marine shrimp, is that I can place a large number in the tank and not worry about them surviving more than a few hours. Great product, great price, and George is a great guy to do business with. I expect to order from him every month or so.

I've always had good experiences with George, his shrimp are fantastic and human quality.
I would be leary of other salt water shrimp that are not his quality because of the high potential for introducing parasites into a system. Glad you found George.

I'm gonna give those a try. I'm pretty sure I lost a SH to a parasite in LFS live brine. My horses have been deprived of live food ever since.
My seahorses told me to tell you thanks. |

could you please tell me what you pay for the shrimp, or you could pm me if you wish. I have my two H. Comes and I desperately want them to live, and if it means buying live food then so be it. I have had them almost a week and still have not seen either touch a frozen mysis.
Thanks! Oh, it's not overnight shipping is it? Gah I don't want to spend almost $50 just to pay for shipping!!!

Jessica-
Yes, overnight shipping is best. If you order a lot, I'm sure that hgye could send it airfreight whihc would be cheaper than FedEx. but you have to order a lot. From his web site, 1000 of the 1/4"-1/2" shrimp shipped would be $215. If you can find someone esle to order pool with it will cut the shipping quite a bit
