I think the par meter may be one of the next additions to my apex! So cool, great looking build and I can't wait to watch this tank mature.

Have you ran the skimmer yet? How many gph are the pumps and how large is that chamber? Looks like it could be too much going through it, although the pump being Co troll able may help.

skimmer works great ..chamber is 8.5 x 20in , the main pump is dc 8000 with needle wheel and mesh mod. It runs 100% I have slowed it down but seems to work best at 100% , The recirc pump is dc 12000 at 100% with needle wheel. the recirc pump and becket made a huge gain in skimmate.

I realy like the par meter ..I have been playing with timers and ramps trying to smooth out some of the dips and peaks..I also ordered new reflectors for my t5s so im going to wait until there installed to fine tune the par curve.. Im trying to simulate the natural bell curve the sun produces ..Im also going to run each set of lights to see how they look separate from the system. I now understand why a par meter is a great tool for setting up your leds.

Well I'm back , bad news my 75 and 90 tanks broke and I was forced into cramming everything into the big tank, it was a blood bath what coral the fish didn't eat the shock and ect. Did.. I finally caught the subject fish removed lots of the excess rock, we seem to be back on track

The good news is that I only have one tank now, I took all the extra equipment from both tanks and made life a lot easier...

If you aren't a paying Photobucket user, nobody will be seeing your photos unless you move them to a new photo hosting site and re upload them or start paying Photobucket a lot of money..
