Humming noise
I have 2 6055's on a 7092, and everytime that one of the 6055 increases the flow I get a humming noise. I have taken it apart and can not see anything wrong with it, and when I hook it back up to the 7092 it stops the humming for awhile but it comes back after some time. Is there something I can look for or is there some fix for it. Thanks

How old are the pumps, have you tried a thorough cleaning? Remove the drive unit and soak the motor and separate drive unit in 50/50 vinegar and water for about 4hours. Some deposits on the shaft or the hole in the drive unit are the most likely culprit.

I would try the cleaning, generally it takes 3-4 months for the pumps to jam up enough to make a noise or need cleaning but if a precipitation occured, some sand was stirred up, or calcium levels are high or a supplement is added near the pump this could be the cause. It may also be that the noise is normal, they will make some noise as they change speeds but it shouldn't be audible unless you are very close to the tank.
