Gandolf,
What indicators are flashing when and immediately after this occurs? Thanks, Kevin

Gandolf,
Is it possible that the RENEW™ Sump Sensor and the STORM™ Sump Sensor are mounted at the same height? In other words, that the RENEW™ Sump Sensor is right at the normal running water level in your sump? If so, as soon as the RENEW™ removes water from the sump, it triggers the RENEW™ Level Sensor, which tells the RENEW™ to stop because it believes there is not enough water in the sump to continue removing it. The RENEW™ Sump Level Sensor should be mounted such that at least one gallon of water can be removed from the sump without dropping the float on the RENEW™ Sump Level Sensor. Still need to know which indicators on the RENEW™ Control Module are flashing when and immediately after this occurs. Thanks, Kevin

Please unplug and plug back in the Metering Reservoir cables; it appears that one - probably the waste water Metering Reservoir - is not fully plugged in. Make sure it "clicks" into the connector and that it won't come back out when you gently pull on it.

Hi Gandolf,
Yes, we of course would love to help resolve your issue. However, we really need more information in order to be able to zero in on a cause. Please see my second post above with the question about level sensor placement - is it possible the RENEW™ Sump sensor is too high in the sump, right about the same level as the STORM" Sump sensor? If so, it will turn off almost immediately and throw an error. Videos are always helpful when troubleshooting; the more they show, the better. Best regards, Kevin

Gandolf,
Open the waste water metering reservoir and make sure both floats move freely along the stem of the sensors. The RENEW™ appears to think the Metering Reservoir is already full. Kevin

Gandolf,
Your RENEW™ thinks one of the metering reservoirs is already full. Also, MAKE SURE that they are plugged into the right connectors on the back of the control module, (replacement to replacement, and waste to waste), and that they are fully plugged in. Please keep in mind that every single reef system is unique, and therefore every RENEW™ and STORM™ installation is unique. Therefore, videos are extremely useful, as are very detailed descriptions of the problems you are encountering. Have a great evening, Kevin

Please see the email I sent this evening, and let me know what you find by following that.
Also, please look and let me know what you find with regard to my earlier questions about the placement of the RENEW™ Sump Level Sensor. Is it possible to remove at least one gallon of water from the sump without the water level dropping to the RENEW™ Sump Level Sensor? Kevin
