What kind of rock is that? I need to find some that are flat and shelf-like similar to the ones you have.

Excellent looking tank by the way! One of the best I've seen and not only because it's unique!

They are Kaelini Tonga, not the branch kind. I hand picked them from a tub at my LFS.

More pics + 5,984,895,832,001.75 (times Pi)³

My new tank is being constructed with Crazy's tank as its main inspiration. Hopefully I end up close! It sure would be nice to see how his setup has evolved since it was first setup...

Guys/Gals I’m sorry for the late response, I have been pretty busy flying in and out of town. The tank is doing well although I did loose my clam. Other than that all is progressing slowly. I wanted to wait till I get a new camera before posting update pics, but i will snap a few shots this weekend with my old one.

He beautiful tank, I saw what bulb and ballast you used, but what type of pendant/reflector are you using? It looks great and simple.

I believe this is your answer, plus he said it is a Lumenarc pendant reflector

Nice tank crazy4acros.

Question for you and all others with open 'scapes.
Where/how do the fish all find a place to sleep?

I think my fishes has adapted to the open scape. At night the tangs hang out under the overhangs and the angel has it's favorite spot in the back.

purplereef, The brain was a nice score at a local LFS, It's a Aussie Scolly.

Thank you all for the comments!
