Koi Pond

Anybody here that knows how to install/make a Koi pond here in el paso? My dimensions are rough 18 feet by 2 feet by 1 foot.

What is necessary to keep the fish safe. Especially during the winter when it decides to go to a freezing extreme and in the summer when it gets boiling hot.

Thanks,
Gilbert

I don't know much about it, but from what I've seen, as long as you have moving water, only the surface of the water may freeze and the fish should survive the winter. Koi and goldfish are cold water fish, so they should be fine.

I think The Ark on the NE has or used to have Koi and pond info. Might want to try there.
