New RedSea Max Nano in Portugal
Hello,
I’m Ricardo and i live in Portugal. Soon i will start my new build, it’s Redsea Max Nano. Any recomendation for upgrade something? Return pump is good enough? I will add a tunze 6015 for circulation pump, is that good? My system comes from germany, so i think that in 15 days it will be in my home. Waiting for your advices. Regards, Ricardo |

Good afternoon.
I will receive my RedSea Max Nano and would like to know if it will be worth exchanging the return pump for a Jecod DC 1200 or 2000 and thus improve circulation inside the aquarium and not have to put a circulation pump. Do you recommend some kind of upgrade to do? |

I have no experience with redsea or there products, maybe someone who has used there stuff can chime in. However you don't want your return pump to be your sole means of circulation.
Ideally you want to keep detrious suspended in the water column for removal. Your circulation needs will also be determined by what you intend to keep. Fish only and softies you can get away with less, roughly 20-30x. Mixed reef 30-50x. If you plan to do sps dominant 50-60x plus. So more info is needed before any recommendations can be given.
