Lighting choice for a 106X43X31 - 2500L

Hi all, I'm restarting an aquarium and i've installed mars aqua led... I'm quite disapointed about the growth... All parameters are ok but from what I remember of my former full T5 or mixed T5 +400W HQI, growth was much faster at that time...

Thank is almost 100% SPS...

Are the ATI hybrid still the best options on the market?

Thanks.

Steeve

T5 +400W HQI will be the best for grawing sps, but not so economical for running cost. Some people like the illumination color of led lights.
If you like led colors, you can take a look at orphek atlantik v4, ghl mitras lx7206 or ecotech marine radion g4 xr30w pro. These are all high end led best for sps tank.

The 31 dimension is the one to watch here.
Many fixtures will work for SPS but fewer will do the 31 depth.
In the US MH bulbs are getting difficult to find.

Stick it out with halides. I still buy mine from Hamilton technology, but BRS, and Premium Aquatics still carry many choices too. I tend to believe they will be around for awhile longer and so I’m sticking with them bulbs for now!

In Europe MH almost impossible to find anymore . So that's why I'm looking for probably 2X Ati 8XT54W + 3X75w led... Or 4 times ATI 4X54W and 3X75W...

Can't make my mind...

Thanks for reply but I cannot afford tax importation for each bulb in Europe...

Or look into orpheks. They seem to have a blanket spread like T5s do.

Curious how many mars aqua units you have over it now? I would imagine needing quiet a few to properly light that monster. Have you taken PAR readings?
