Programming Smart AWC AutoAqua help
Today I installed a AutoAqua Smart AWC with ATO.
Everything is setup & running properly, however I cannot understand the instructions for programming the AWC while also using the ATO function. I want to set it to AWC once/ day. I currently have it set to: Day- 1, Hour- 00 There's supposed to be some sort of countdown? Also, the manual says "water change process will start after the next ATO event"... huh? my ATO may fill 10 x's per day. I want to AWC once / day. These instructions are confusing to me... Thanks in advance! |

I haven't used that device, so I can't help. Could you post a link to the instructions, if there's a copy online?

Phixman, get it! One of the best investments that I have made for my reef. Just have to make sure the ATO is off before the water change if you are using another ATO system. I highly recommend it!

I'm sorry to be a bit slow. This thread got lost in the inbox.
I'm not sure from the instructions how to set the size of the water change. Maybe you could post a video of you trying to set up the device. The instructions are a bit sparse.

The difference in height between the two sensors in the sump will establish the WC volume

As far as how much daily, I set the sensors about 1/2" apart. Did a WC thru system, measured how much came out... I have it at 1 gal/ day which for my 60 gal system is just over 10% per week. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I have this unit and love the ATO works flawlessly and the AWC manually is the same...I read and reread the instruction book but the programming to make the AWC auto eludes me. I would like to change half a gallon twice a day everyday, anyone have a clue how to set this up. I have an apex classic and that's easy compare to this thing.

so I still don't have it, I thought I was good. I decided to just change 1 gallon per day. I set the days to 01 and the hours to 00, thought this would be a water change one time daily every 24 hours which would have been a water change at 6:00pm yesterday. This morning I checked and still no water has been added to the waste tank but the timer now reads 00d 10h...

Not to bad, I guess you don't have to set it and wait 24 hrs if your impatient. I just set it and waited the 24 hrs to see if it worked, it did after 2 tries.
