sometimes (often) simplicity is (by far) the best solution to the moost complex problems...

but back to my question: so if i understand correctly you painted the outerside of the innerglass and the inner side of the outer glass? so in that case the water flows between those 2 layers of paint?

thanks again for your inspiration

Hi Denadai,

did you take any precautions when you changed out LR with the one you're using?
And same question when you removed the sandbed?

I was considering the same myself, but I'm a little afraid of crashing the whole system.

Best regards,
Ken.

Not exatly. There is a draw in this thread, look and see if you understand. If not, just let me know

I did other reef, is not the same. I think is not a good idea to remove the RV and sand in a mature reef.

In average 30 minutes per weekend to clean the white acrylic , pumps and skimmer

I can move the plastic rocks to clean, very easy.

About the reef, I don´t have this reef anymore.

As you guys know, I live in Brazil, and I had an offer to work in Miami - FL. So maybe I will move soon and of course is not possible to move the reef to another country

I´m a full time trader in Brasil and a hedge fund manager. If you have bloomberg, the code is AZULQUA:BZ

It´s not 100% sure yet but how I´m very busy and travelling a lot at this moment, keep the tank how I like was very hard.

Best Regards

Good luck on your endaevors Denadai.
Your tank will always remain an inspiration to many in this hobby. You have definately achieved a benchmark.
Hoping you will kick start a new system once you have settled abroad.
We all will be waiting to hear that news.

Happy Reefing!!

Good luck with your new job if you move to LA.

I will miss this tank. It was definately an inspiration and something a little different that made a big impact on many people hence why you have so many people following this thread.

I hope you will setup a nano sort of tank in LA?

from a couple of posts above

"About the reef, I don´t have this reef anymore.

Hopefully a new tank to share will be on the horizon!

Hello Roberto,
Just finished reading the entire thread, what an outstanding tank (using what is probably a unique method), congratulations. It’s just a pity that this tank no longer exists.
I wonder if anyone else will be brave enough to attempt this method?
I look forward to when you are able to set up a new tank,

Cheers,

Pete.

Hi Roberto

I saw in the pictures that you only have 2 reservoirs connected in the balling dosing pump, so i supose that you do not dose Mg automatically or you just replace the Mg with water changes??

Hope a new denadai reef soon!!!
Greetings from Portugal, Abraço!!
