Coral Help

Hello. Can anyone give me an idea what kind of coral this is? Also appreciate any tips on how to get it off the frag disk and onto my rock. Thanks in advance.

Looks like it might be something like devils hand leather coral. And I wouldn’t worry about taking it off the plug. See if you can find a spot to glue the plug onto the rock and let the coral grow over the plug or move off the plug on its own (this takes months to do though and doesn’t happen often). It’s hard to remove leather corals once they’re attached. The best way would be to use a scalpel or sharp (very clean) scissors and slowly cut it off the plug from the base. It would also be hard to reattach it to the rock. Zip ties or rubber bands would be better than glue when trying to get it back onto the rockwork
