Clown pair first spawn

As far as I know it's their first. Had for a year never seen them do this before. Female is kayinf orange eggs in center of their giant toadstool. Many don't attach and they are eating the ones that float off. Is this normal? I know I need yo read the big clown fish breeding thread to see what to do next.

Never had my clowns lay eggs on a coral.maybe you can try putting a ceramic tile near the toadstool and see if they will lay the next clutch on it. Good luck.
