Gyre wavemaker/powerhead on a Nano cube?

Just wanted to see if anyone has tried one of these types on a nano cube.
I have a 2.5 year old Jebao RW8 giving up the ghost so I need to get a replacement. Was looking at either the small
Cross Flow CP-25 or a pair of the new Coral Box QP-5

I had a gyre 130 in my biocube 28 without any issues.

Some have bar tabs. I have a coral tab at my LFS. Life goals.

I really wanted to go this route, but cheaped out and went dual powerheads. I have them positioned so they generate a poor man's gyre flow through the tank (Fluval 13.5). Post up if you do it!

I have one halved with end cap on my jbj rimless 10 gallon. 24x10x10 It works well. I can only run it at 10% but it works well.
