Allow the cloud to settle in the ATO container for a bit before it is pumped to the DT. Also, never allow the pump to suck the crud in the bottom of the ATO container.
If you ever decide to carbon dose vinegar (to keep PH in check) you can mix the kalk with the vinegar and add the mixed solution to your RODI. This allows the kalk to fully dissolve with little to no cloudiness. Cheers! Mark

So i dont throw out the cloudy water before adding fresh rodi water amd new kalk. I only put 1 tsp for the 5 gallon and there still seems to be stuff settling to the bottom. Any kind of vinegar works?

Impurities also precipitate and settle to the bottom. Could be what you are seeing.

Just keep adding more water and kalk. Dump out the sludge after it piles up too high. You don't have to clean your kalk reservoir every time

Throw it out every couple of months or when it turns colors.
Here is how I do it with vinegar: I add 120ml of white vinegar (standard 5% -like you get at the grocery) to a glass beaker (or cup). I slowly add Kalk to the vinegar and stir well. I then pour the beaker into 2 gallons of R/O and stir. Then I pour this into my ATO reservoir. I have little to no solids in my ATO. When you mix the Kalk and vinegar together you get a complete chemical reaction and the Kalk fully disolves. You should understand carbon dosing and any issues prior to starting vinegar. Cheers! Mark
