feeding rotifers

Does anyone feed rotifers to their SPS and if so how do you feed, broadcast or target feed? I can get a steady supply of live ones from my job and want to know if there is a good benefit from feeding them.

I think they are the right size, probably on the very top end of size they can use. If you can target feed them you don't have enough flow.

Turn off your skimmer and/or return for an hour after you feed but leave circulation on. I have been feeding frozen rotifers to acros and montis in quarantine, and even though I don't see the polyps catch them in an hour or two there's not many left and there's not really any other place they could go.

Also, if you can get live ones that's even better because you can feed heavily and not worry about nutrients as much because they will stay alive in your system for a while I would actually dose a small amount of phyto with the rotis to feed them, though I can't recommend it without knowing about your system.

I've seen great polyp extension & color feeding w/ rotifers. I usually just pour it in front of my power head & turn off pumps for about 10-15mins.
