Hi. Yeah I did a shutoff test. It's all good. Will place a ceramic media under the skimmer to elevate it by 4 inches. I notice the water evaporation is 25% lesser with that level of water in the sump. I will continue to monitor it.Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

So what are your initial thoughts on the Waterbox system? I am getting back into the hobby and ordered the Waterbox Plus 130 last night. What was the lead time from order to receipt?

Hi. I really like it. When I ordered it, it took 5 working days before it's delivered.

Hi...really nice tank...beautiful home as well
Im a newbie and was hoping to ask if you are cycling your dry rock currently or was your dry rock cycled before you put it in your tank? Im about to start a new tank myself but Im confused about whether my dry rock needs to be cycled in the new tank or a separate bin as I read that I need to do that in a sticky but dont understand why...thought maybe you could give me some advice on that thanks for your time BayBHuey |

Hi there. Yes I did cycle my tank. I rinsed the dry rocks and place it in my tank...I used some old rocks from my 2 year old reef tank though and place it in the sump. I just transferred my corals and currently acclimating them under new lights...

How is that board with the electronics mounted? I have a Waterbox 100.3 and the cabinet isn't divided but I'd like to divide it myself to keep the electronics a little more separate.

Very clean looking setup! Did you run the LEDs through your Apex 24v outputs?

Boy, I know I've been out of reefing, but you entire is very well done, inside and down. Your attention to detail is remarkable. I'm a bit of a perfectionist too,so I offer you a big thumbs up.
I like those of us that are proud, when the mechanical's as important as the tank inhabitants. Beautiful inside, outside, front and back ! I visited Water Box's website and their products look sound and nicely done. Very tight & clean look. I watched one video when they put together a complete tank, start to finish, explained every piece equipment and how it all works. Wonderful for newbie's going Great going zeeGGee ! What brand is the fan strip ? Last edited by ClownBubbaJoe; 03/08/2019 at 05:29 PM. |
