some fish art
I threw these up on the reef fish forum just to see what people thought and figured I would post these here too. They are some quick water color sketches for a big painting that hasnt happened yet. Thanks for looking
some of you might have seen this before ..and mods if they violate the rules..sorry just showing art not trying to influence anyone Last edited by dc; 11/11/2011 at 11:17 AM. |

I like the detail you put into each one of them. I've always found working with water colors to be a pain. Very Nice Work!

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed the paintings. Hey, I see you are in Lock Haven! I'm in Woolrich. Nice to know there are fellow reefers in our rural area.
I like the second beyond the reef painting. I really enjoy that store. |

They are all done on either 11 x 17 or 12 x 18. I cannot remember which at the moment.

Did 8 years of art in highschool, haven't done much with it in college but these are AMAZING man, i always hated working with water color. Was always more of a pen and ink and clay

Thanks man,
I just started with watercolor doing these. It just seems natural to paint fish with watercolors. I have done a lot of acrylic and screen and woodblock prints. I have a Bachelors and a Masters in Art and the teaching certificate to go along with it. Most of what I do now is photography. |
