Optical level sensor question

I'm designing my ato system and I want to design a solution that will keep my ato container refilled directly from my ro/di system. In order to avoid the many small top offs each day and the TDS creep, I want to set a low level and high level in my ato container so once the bottom level sensor is tripped, an SV-1 solenoid will open and allow the ro/di to fill up the ATO container until it reaches the top level.

Can I program that on the Apex? I think the logic should work fine as the water level drops, but can it handle filling up past the first sensor to the second one without shutting off once it passes the bottom sensor? Is this the wrong way to go about solving this?

Yes, it can be done with float sensors with a breakout box or optical sensors with the FMM.

Below is a link and code to do what you want. Only difference is that it uses a second solenoid to automatically handle flushing the RO membrane.
