Brown jelly?

This stuff popped up on a small piece of broken off GSP a few days ago, and has tripled in size (it's still less than 1/4 inch around). I haven't been able to find anything at all that looks like it, but brown jelly is literally the only way I can describe it.

Looks like a bacteria maybe, not sure if its brown jelly. It looks a little to dark. You should harvest it and sell it as a GSP killer.

I'm not exactly sure what that is either, but I'd definitely remove it and whatever it's on ASAP.
