Awesome Acropora!!! Id Please?

Got this beauty a few days ago! Grabbed it for a pretty good deal (I think?)
$15 @ a LFS. They had a few larger pieces they actually recommended me to take, but I liked the branching of this guy most, even if it was smaller.

Any particular ID on it? I know it's an SPS Acropora, but it appears different acros have higher or lower light requirements?

Thanks!

I'm no expert but looks like a bonsai I've been after for several months. Super jealous. Regardless of whether I'm right or wrong it's amazing and I need one

Haha thanks!!! I love the color on it. If you're local to so-cal I can refer you to where to get it!

Coral Supply off Topanga. Looks like you're right around the corner
They had like 3 additional of this one, 1 was almost double the size (come to think of it.. I could have 'fragged' it and made it 2, oh well!), all $15

Really awesome store w/ what seems to be decent prices for a LFS.

You been before?

Yup. Looks like a mari bonsai knockoff. Acropora Valida. You can tell more once is start to encrust.

It will take all of the good light that you can give it. 500-750+ par under T5 or MH but would probably be fine under 250-300. I don't know how clean your LED light is, but I would start it pretty low and see how much it can take.

That rock looks pretty clean. Is this a new tank? If so, then tender your expectations. While this is a really easy acropora to keep, no acropora is easy in a new tank.

IMO - this type can be sensitive to shipping ,dipping and LED, I see these bleach often at the LFS under their famous brand LED- I would acclimate it slowly to this light , in the short term , it's not going to be doing much for at least a couple of weeks from the stress of shipping.
I would also go on to say that when it comes to dipping them , dip them for the least amount of time possible.
I wish you success with your A.Valida - they are magnificent to look at.
