Bulkhead size for 40 breeder

hi, I recently got 40 breeder and trying to drill bottom
(Aqueon brand and they claims not tempered on bottom)
for drain/return.
What size should I use? 1 inch for drain, 3/4 inch for return sounds fine?
I'll be using mag 7 as return pump w/ height of 53 inch or so

thanks... When I had 46 bowfront, I was using hang on back U tube overflow
with 1inch drain and it wasn't even 300gph through it but I don't know
drilling type overflow would push more water at same diameter.
If 3/4 works for both drain/return (I can always reduce 3/4 to 1/2 on return)
I could just get drill bit and drill both holes myself but if I need 2 diff size,
I need someone to drill it for me.

What would u guys do? my sump is regular 29g tank w/ baffles in
