Seahorses in a 20 gal tall?
I’m considering trying a seahorse tank with my 20 gal. Since the tank is so small should I start out with just chateau and put some pods & phytoplankton / mysis shrimp in for a while and then try to introduce a dwarf or smaller seahorse species? Id probably toss ~20 snails in and maybe a fighting conch or soemtbing dwarf scarlet hermits. Is this a receipt for success?

If it’s important: the tank will be a 20 gallon tank I’ve had running for about 6 months with some crabs a pair of clowns and a dottyback. The fish would be removed and rehomed.

Main thing ive read over & over about seahorses is they require a variety of live foods so id guess you will have to raise pods & live brine shrimp to feed them well 24/7. Don't think tank size is as important. More work then i have time to do so.... but at one time id considered them too.

Feeding them: must be live food, low circulation, because they pretty well rely on the food coming to them. Food is expensive. Recommend you read up in the seahorse forum, to become aware of ailments peculiar to them, and also how to cope with their food and environment needs.
