He sure does, when I was checking them out this morning, I noticed the teal outline around some of the fins! Looks really cool, and didn't realize it until now.

I don't know but it looked pretty sweet. Must be settling in some because it was really showing this morning.

That is great!!!

Could we get a fts of your QT's??
I'd love to see what they look like, and specs, like how many gallons, filtration, and what types of hiding places you have in there!

Looks amazing!

They have been posted a few times throughout the thread. (2) 40 breeders and (2) 20 longs

I just use power filters and pvc pipe.

Both the idol and Achilles eat flakes, pellets, frozens, and nori. That is crazy I think. I can't believe I'm watching the idol consume nori soaked in selcon!

Just bored at the shop going through some old photos. A little comparison of the previous setup to the current one at roughly the same age.
The FTS is from about 2 weeks ago as it's the newst one I have, except for yesterday but it was in the am and all blue.

Hey I stole your light mounting idea for the frag tank.

We'll call it even.

Wish I was brave enough to attempt to wire up the lights to be dimmable like yours. All my EE friends are way too busy to ask haha

Last time I tried to solder something I shorted everything...

My dad could do it in a snap, I just sort of hate asking people for stuff :P

Still need to get an APEX for the frag tank as well.

Can you link the lights together like I have our Kessils daisy chained?

Or does each light need to be connected to a VDM output?

You can link them. I run 2 on each channel so I control each row on the tank independently.

Ah very cool.

Already nuked my acros because of a heater... should do it sooner than later...

The only limiting factor would be the voltage that the VDM puts out. If its at 100% and its less then 10V coming out, there are too many on it. I started out with 4 on each channel and it was good to go. Funny thing is with the manual knobs on them they were lucky to hit 9v so they wouldn't even hit full brightness before i modded them.

I also control those Jebao RW-20s with the Apex. If they go out Ill probobly just get vortechs. But so far so good! I was going to get a second pair but there seems to be plenty of flow as it is with the returns.

Yeah we have our RW20, RW15, (2) WP60s and WP40 on the Apex as well.

Running through a ton of programs during the day.

Maybe one of the better things I've done to the tank recently.

The seasons table I think is pretty neat. It's different every day in there. Some days I see the elegence getting blasted too much, and others like yesterday there were a lot of calm periods.

I wouldn't want the seasons on the lights though, I would come home in the winter to a dark tank lol.
