Unique looking Acan! My vote is for A. hillae. This one that Divers Den is selling has a similar morphology to your coral. What do you think?

Thanks for sharing your collection with us. I love the Aussie rainbows that you have been posting.

Looks like it could be the same species for sure. I wish I had the room for that piece, I'd probably buy it.

So excited about this new one I got from Cherry Corals. They call it the Tokyo Sunrise. For reals probably the best acan I bought this year.

WOW............................Where do you find these things. I'm jealous.
Any one of those frags will sell at my LFS for $500US+. The normal regular color acans start at $300US.
We have to pay big bucks just to get it shipped here to the caribbean.

I'll have to my my friend come by and tank a FTS with his fancy camera. Tokyo is crazy man I love that acan. Funny you said you can't get yourself to spend that much cause I hesitated for a couple weeks debating and thinking it through finally I pulled the trigger basing my decision on the fact that I have never saw an acan since I've been in the hobby. And once I got the coral, whatever I paid didn't even matter to me anymore. LOL Crazy I tell you. Switching to T5's was the best thing I ever did for my corals. I ran MH for years, the frist minute I turned on the T5's and witnessed my corals oozing with colors, I immediately felt that all those years I ran MH I was ripping myself off from experiencing the beauty of these corals. But there is no denying that MH is much better for sps.

Got the Tokyo from Cherry Corals. The others I got from local reefers or reefapalooza.

Psirex hit it on the head. LOL

One I've paid as much at $200 for 1 polyp, but that's only one. Most others are $25-$75 per polyp.
